Díaz Bessone Judgement: The restorative value of writing

Carmen Sillato recounted details of his abduction and captivity in the Information Service of the Santa Fe police, before the Federal Oral Court No. 2 of Rosario, judge the crimes committed by the gang of Augustine Feced. María del

Maria del Carmen said he was "kidnapped with her husband on January 18, 1977" with her husband, on moments that bore a very advanced state of pregnancy to the point that his son nation during their captivity.

The witness, who is head of Latin American Studies of University of Waterloo, Canada, told the court he could see how "writing can be restorative to the trauma experienced by the former detainees" disappeared "under his Ph.D. in Philosophy testis.
"Acts of torture are those who can not verbalize. Even when one seeks the Jewish Holocaust, it is difficult to put words, "said the survivor, who described in his thesis work was assisted by other former detainees, including some who are also witnesses and complainants in this trial, like Martha Bertolino.
